HEC will attest only NTC Accredited Technology Degrees starting from Spring 2018 Semester

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has directed its Degree Attestation and Equivalency Offices all over the Pakistan to attest only those B.Tech-Hons or BS Technology or BSc Engineering-Technology or BE Technology Degrees which were started from Spring 2018 semester and accredited by the National Technology Council (NTC) Pakistan. In other words, all those such degrees, which are starting from Spring 2018 semester and not accredited by the NTC, will not be attested by any HEC Degrees Attestation Offices.
The NTC has already extended the last date of Registration for all those old B.Tech-Hons or BS Technology or BSc Engineering-Technology or BE Technology Degrees Graduates whose degrees are completed before Spring 2018 semester. Now the last date of Registration with NTC is 30th June 2022.
The HEC and NTC did not clarify that what will they do with those B.Tech-Hons or BS Technology or BSc Engineering-Technology or BE Technology Degrees Graduates whose degrees were started before Spring 2018 semester and ending after Spring 2018 semester.

The cut out date for the registration of Graduates holding BSc Engineering Technology / B. Tech (Hons) / B. Tech / BS Technology / BE Technology / BSc Technology Degrees, with the National Technology Council (NTC) would be 30th June 2022, after which only the BSc Engineering Technology Graduates permeating through NTC’s accredited programs would be eligible for registration by NTC.
