The National Technology Council (NTC) Govt of Pakistan has announced that the the date of Registration as Engineering-Technologist has been extended. Now the last date of Registration of senior B.Tech-Hons or BS Technology or BSc Engineering-Technology Degree Graduates is 30th June 2022. After this date, only those BSc Engineering-Technology Degree Graduates would be registered whose Degree Programs are accredited by the NTC.
We are receiving a lot of queries that how to get register with the NTC. Well! It is a simple three stages procedure:
Get verify your original both Degree(s) and Transcript(s) from your University (Controller of Examination). They will sign and stamp at back side of your documents.
Get attest your original both Degree(s) and Transcript(s) from Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. The HEC has an online Degree Attestation System. They will also sign and stamp at back side of your documents. https://www.hec.gov.pk/english/services/students/Degree%20Attestation%20System/Pages/Degree-Attestation.aspx
Get Registration Certificate by applying online to the NTC website. The NTC awards two Professional Titles: Graduate Engineering Technologist (GET) for Fresh Graduates and having less than Five Years Professional Experience; Professional Engineering Technologist (PET) for Experienced Graduates having more than Five Years Professional Experience. The Registration is for Life Time. https://www.ntc-hec.org.pk/instructonlineapps.php
Note:
The NTC only registers the four years B.Tech-Hons or BS Technology or BSc Engineering-Technology Degree Graduates and do not register the two years B.Tech-Pass Degree Graduates.
Please read and understand both the HEC and NTC Procedures carefully before proceeding. All steps and fee etc. are explained in a simple step by step manner (be relax).
Those Graduates who got attested their degrees and transcripts from the HEC on or before March 2009 would have to re-attest their documents from the HEC. Please follow all above three steps (It is the HEC's Decision and you would have to follow it, otherwise, you may go to the Court to challenge, its up to you).
The HEC has black-listed three Universities and Degree Awarding Institutes: Al-Khair University AJK, Global Institute Lahore and PIMSAT Karachi. The Graduates of these may please consult with HEC before applying, because they may face problems.
Don't waste the time now and get the NTC Registration, otherwise, you may face troubles in your career in future.
